Here are some of the "SeeFood" we ate, while they were still alive..

This is what it looks like when we were done!

Christmas 2005

It's another Christmas been and gone...

It's sad that we have not been back in NZ for the past 2 Christmas, as planned, but sh** happens! We hope to next year but pretty unlikely.. But if everything works out, we might, but that's another story... for another day.
I think we are all pretty happy with Santa this year..
I know I am..

Merry Christmas! Eve!

"And So This Is Christmas...." Eve..
Kaitlyn is already digging into the 'little boys'! ;p

We had some friends around...

Here is the other Kiwi family that's in Lumut; Greg, Anna, Matilda and Lovisa (But Lovisa was at home, sick, with her Nanna.)

So we all sat around having Chinese Tea...

And Satay...

Wait.. What's that sound?? Is that Santa on the roof?!

No, it's the carollers ...
The Kids stayed up till 11:30pm.. We had the last carolling group at 12:30am. And after we all basically just crashed! There was still church at 8:30am Christmas morning yet!

Only 2% ???

I've only been to 2% of the world?! Gosh... sigh.. Probably less, coz I've only been to Bali in Indonesia, and South of Thailand, not the whole country.

or check our Venice travel guide

I'm Hoping to add a few more countries to it next year! Whic would only make it 4%!

Bambam Walking!

Yes, My Little man is walking all by himself now! 10 1/2 months! A month later than his sister, but hey .. he is a boy and you know what they say.. boys are always slower! Don't know if that is true or not. But I'm happy! We were so worried, you know with his smaller left leg, that it would be a problem! But thank God it is not!

It's that time of the year again, were everyone is busy getting Christmas presents and all.. The Joy of Giving! We dumped the kids and head off shopping @ Ipoh yesterday, don't get us wrong, we love spending time with the kids but... we can't get any shopping done with them there! One min, it's Kaitlyn wanting to go to the toilet; One min, Caleb needs a nappy change (oh, did I mention that my kids can end up doing 5 poos a day!! but most days its only about 3 times!! Is this normal?)
Meal time is another stressful part! On one hand, a very picky eater, refuses to eat anything! On the other, before he finishes what is in his mouth you better have the next spoon ready or ELSE!! So a half an hour meal would take at least an hour!

Well we have got most of our shopping done, except for each other... sigh.. what am I going to get him this year... hm... more cloths? more shoes? something more meaningful?? any suggestions?! Help?!?

But "Arles" (my youngest brother) is back and out comes all the horror movies! (Sorry Grace, we couldn't wait, we've watched Emily Rose without you!)

Christmas is just around the corner again!

Mmmmmmm.... ChristMan!!
I know I wouldn't mind that for Christmas!
Gosh... Christmas is once again around the corner. Caleb is turning 10 months tomorrow, Kaitlyn is now 3 years old. We planned to go back to NZ for Christmas this year, we planned for that to happen last year too... But.. I was pregnant with Caleb and was a bit too big to travel with comfort then, this year.. we were suppose to meet up with Hamish, Jacob's best friend, and his new family back in NZ for Christmas... not enough $$$ as we have already been back in NZ in May, plus we are saving for our UK trip, Hamish's Wedding, next year. So... No Chirstmas in NZ this year. After UK, I don't think we would be able to afford Christmas in NZ next year either! With 3 weddings next year, 2 at the end of the year round christmas time. so... there goes another year..

Kaitlyn Turns 3!!

Gosh.. was it a long day!
Jacob had a class at 9am in the morning so, we basically had only 5 mins with the bday girl b4 we had to rush out the door.
It took Jocyee(my brother's girlfriend) and I about 1 hour and 2 shops later to find this pretty little barbie doll cake.

So right after Jacob finishes his afternoon class, we rushed off to pick up the cake and off to see our little bday girl!
"Yeh-yeh"aka Poppa and "Nai-Nai" aka Granna got to join in the celebration thanks to Today's Modern Tecnology. Naming the MSN Video Conferencing

It was pretty hard keeping the kids away of the icing!! The bday girl had her share of icing and chocolate decorations.

She had lots of prezzies, some are even all the way from NZ (Great Grand Nanna, Yeh-yeh and Nai-Nai's, Minky)and not to forget a card from Unki Moo-Moo, in London.

Kaitlyn's God Mother, Minky, send her the wings, so she made us hold her up so that she could fly! Thanks Minky!! ;p

The Bday girl had a great time! She was out like a light by 9 pm! Slept like a baby! Didn't wake up once during the night!

The Frog!

We have just introduced Kaitlyn, who is turning 3 tomorrow, to the computer. We've got her an interactive CD-rom, to learn English, Malay and Chinese.

Kaitlyn : Gong-gong, I want the ... er...

Gong-gong : What do you want?

Kaitlyn thinking really hard : the... frog..

Gong-gong : What Frog?

Kaitlyn : There.. the frog for the computer le..

Everyone just cracked up laughing!!!

Mummy pointing to the mouse : What is this??

Kaitlyn : Frog... (checky smile on)

Mummy : No, it's a mouse!

Kaitlyn : Ooo... Cannot say frog, it's a mouse!

Lol!!!

Gosh this time last year(I've been informed that I wrote last year on here when she is turning 3!! hehehe I meant 3 years! 3 YEARS!! ago) I was in labour with her! a whole 29 hours of it!! In another blink of an eye, she would be 18? then 25? Time sure flies!!

Caleb is Walking!!!!

Caleb is Walking a few steps by himself now!! Only two or three steps, but it's good considering he has a shorter limp, and he tries to run b4 he starts to walk! He is one month slower than Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn by herself by 9 1/2 months!

Children

Whenever your children are out of control, you can take comfort from the thought thateven God's omnipotence did not extendto His own children. After creating heaven and earth,God created Adam and Eve.And the first thing he said was"DON'T!"

"Don't what?"Adam replied.

"Don't eat the forbidden fruit."God said.

"Forbidden fruit? We have forbidden fruit?Hey Eve..we have forbidden fruit!"

"No Way!"

"Yes way!"

"Do NOT eat the fruit! "said God.

"Why?"

"Because I am your Father and I said so! "God replied, wondering why He hadn't stoppedcreation after making the elephants.A few minutes later,God saw His children having an apple breakand He was ticked!"Didn't I tell you not to eat the fruit? "God asked.

"Uh huh,"Adam replied.

"Then why did you? "said the Father."I don't know,"said Eve.

"She started it! "Adam said.

"Did not! "

"Did too! "

"DID NOT! "

Having had it with the two of them,God's punishment was that Adam and Eveshould have children of their own.
Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed.

BUT THERE IS REASSURANCE IN THE STORY! If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give children wisdom and they haven't taken it,don't be hard on yourself. If God had trouble raising children, what makes you think it would bea piece of cake for you?

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT!

1. You spend the first two years of their lifeteaching them to walk and talk. Then you spendthe next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

2. Grandchildren are God's rewardfor not killing your own children.

3. Mothers of teens now know whysome animals eat their young.

4. Children seldom misquote you.In fact, they usually repeat word for wordwhat you shouldn't have said.

5. The main purpose of holding children's partiesis to remind yourself that there are childrenmore awful than your own.6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

ADVICE FOR THE DAY:Be nice to your kids. They will choose yournursing home one day.

AND FINALLY:

IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF TENSIONAND YOU GET A HEADACHE,DO WHAT IT SAYSON THE ASPIRIN BOTTLE:

"TAKE TWO ASPIRIN"AND "KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN"!!!!! Quick, send this on to ten peoplewithin the next five minutes. Nothing will happen if you don't,but if you do,ten people will be laughing

BirdFlu + Tamiflu = ???

The New Zealand Government says it has a stockpile of the anti-flu drug Tamiflu to cover 21 per cent of the population should there be a bird flu pandemic.

I don't know to be happy or worried!

Tamiflu linked to deaths of 12 children ( http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=2&ObjectID=10355841 )
Yesterday in a report posted online, the US Food and Drug Administration said that 12 children had died in Japan from a range of causes including heart attack, suicide, pneumonia, and acute pancreatitis. Four had suffered a "sudden death" which was" an unusual phenomenon in otherwise healthy children". All had taken Tamiflu.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

I received this from someone today and thought I would share it with all of you!

During a BBQ a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)
She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ - had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. It only takes a minute to read this - Recognizing a Stroke ----- A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed and getting to the patient within 3 hours which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps.
Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

1. *Ask the individual to SMILE.
2. *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
3. *Ask the person to SAY A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)(example: It is sunny today?)

If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks, call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. After discovering that a group of non-medical volunteers could identify facial weakness, arm weakness and speech problems, researchers urged the general public to learn the three questions. They presented their conclusions at the American Stroke Association annual meeting last February. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and treatment of the stroke and prevent brain damage.

BE A FRIEND AND SHARE THIS ARTICLE WITH AS MANY FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE, you could save their lives.

Sweet!!

In the car..
Daddy : No more schools for Kaitlyn!
