I was at TM this morning trying to change our TM plan over to the new Merdeka Plan(for those that has a phone I'm sure would have received the "Merdaka Promosi", well was thinking about it until...
Girl over the counter : Boleh Saya tolong? (Can I help?)
Me : (showing her the agreement that I had to sign)I am thinking of changing our current plan to this,... I forgot to bring the other piece of paper stating what other things come free with this package 198... (Already kicking myself for not bring it..)
GOTC : Jadi... Semua Package-package lain...
Me: This is one of the brochure type piece of nice glossy paper, with "Merdeka plan 198" on it, so how can it be different for different ppl??? How many Merdeka Plan 198 do you have?
GOTC (walks into the office behind her, came out one min later, sits in-front of her computer, typing the a/c number in) : Ok.. You sudah ada call waiting, dan call forwarding...
Me : I know I've got call waiting, no one told us we have got call forwarding?!
GOTC : Sini(here)show you ada Call Forwarding....
Me : So we have been paying for call forwarding not used it?! Ok, anyway, what else comes with the Package 198?
GOTC (walks into the office again, one min later.. as she was walking out from the office) : oh.. 200 free SMS, and CLIP (Caller ID) but you have to buy the machines for them..
Me : ok.. So can I change the SMS and CLIP to have just the Call Waiting and Call Forwarding?
GOTC : No, Call waiting tak ada dalam Plan 198?
Me : yeah I know it's not in the plan... Ok, so how much is call waiting a month?
GOTC : 1.50 a month... So you nak the plan tak?
Me : ok lah...
GOTC : Ok, you tahu, untuk itemized billing kita charge RM4 per month ya?
Me : I thought it states here(pointing to the agreement) NO Monthly Rental! NO HIDDEN CHARGES!! NO HIDDEN CHARGES?!?!
GOTC : Tapi ini bukan hidden charge! Ini Plan give you 900 National Call, 1200 Local call, and 200 SMS for 198/mth. So if you use more than that you nak tahu mana you call kan? so itemized billing is RM4 per month.
You can tell what I did next! Well I guess you can say that it's not a hidden cost, she has already told me that they are going to bill me!! BAH!!
The whole of Malaysia is monopolized by one provider, they can bloody charge whatever they want!! Supporting a fat bastard and his waives and mistress!! BAH!!

Malaysia NEEDS to re-package it's Eco-Tourism??
I think it's a great idea to Re-Package It's Eco-Tourism. Malaysia basically have to "CLEAN" the whole country up, and I mean "CLEAN", politically (That's a different post all together) and environmentally! They could maybe package it as "Come see what it would be like if you don't care for your own country" or they really need to get their act together! All the coral is dying, even the fish are dying, Rivers need cleaning up And "Families wish for clean water"
I know lots of friends that would rather go to Vietnam, Cambodia and other poorer countries than come to Malaysia. Sad, but true..

Sari's Ayu Spa
At long last, a decent Spa Treatment, done in our very own little old Sitiawan. I will post some of the pictures up on this little heaven on earth. It has been a while since my last indulgment was... our last trip to Phuket, which was just b4 we conceived little Bambam and he is now 7 1/2 months old! That was how long ago it was!! I've got a little package for my little self, well on not that little anymore, but that's another story. I've got myself a Balinese Massage, a Herbal Body Wrap, a Body Scrub and Yoghurt, and a Traditional Facial.... hehehehe All costing me about 80 NZ Dollars. (I use NZD just to make myself feel a little better about it! ) :) Now Dear Husband is pasturing me to take him there... Suddenly dear husband is feeling a lot of pain here and there. hm...
Update : Here are some pictures of the Spa at Sitiawan, will get the Marina Cove's later..

Coffee Anyone?
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old University of Notre Dame lecturer. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups ? porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.
When all of them had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said: "If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."
"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change."
"Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."
Well... I think the Big Boss up there is trying to tell me something by bring me to these two msgs.. But some ppl like Mocha, some like Espresso, some like Nescafe... So how?!

In A Hundred Years Time
In a hundred years time it won't matter
If the house you've lived in wasn't done,
The garden and outside wasn't finished,
Or the chores not even begun.
In a hundred years time it won't matter
If the paint still sat in the tin,
That was meant for the wall in the study.
Would it really be such a sin?
In a hundred years time it won't matter
If that shiny new car was not yours?
Or that fancy new watch you'd admired
Still sat in the case at the stores?
In a hundred years time it won't matter
If you were never on TV,
You'd never reached Hollywood stardom
Or even been in a movie.
At sunset a graveyard is quiet
As you quietly move through the leaves
You'll see life summed up on each headstone.
What kind of treasures are these?
Store up your treasures in heaven
where thieves and moths cannot find.Love God, love your neighbor as yourself
Be patient, gentle, and kind.
Live today and enjoy it.
Grasp every moment you can.
For life is the eternal race-
No winners, it's just that you ran.

Another Lazy Sunday!
Sigh... Another Sunday's Gone! My brother and his girlfriend are on the plane as I type this now, coming back to Malaysia. Mum said that they love it back in NZ, and will move back to NZ one day, hehehe.. Thought so.. Well.. Ant's got to finish his studies b4 he moves back there, so guess we will be seeing them back in NZ in 3-5 years time! :)
Well.. as for us, Jacob is planning to go back May next year, finish his training and all within 6 months and start working, but being an flight instructor would only bring in around 10,000-ish a year! er... How are we going to survive on that? We have calculated that we need about 54,000 a year, and that is not living comfortably. THAT is just surviving, with fingers crossed that nothing happens so there will not be any extra expenses! Hm.. which is very unlikely, so we need more that 54,000 basically! That also means that no #3, which both of us want.

Kaitlyn's First Visit to the Dentist!
Not that she needed to go see a Dentist. We went becoz Anis(Kaitlyn's play maid) needed to see the Dentist. So I booked her in for an appointment as well, just for a little check up and to get her accustomed to seeing a Dentist, so she doesn't end up like her ma. :p I for one would do anything to avoid going to the Dentist, at any cost! I'm sure I'm not the only one either! Althought I know that it's all in my head, but I just can't stop myself from getting all nervous and looking for all sorts of excuses not to go!
Kaitlyn was a little nervous when we first when in, but once she got on the the "chair" and allowed the Dentist to have a look at the little teeth, she was fine!See the relieve in her face?
